Harry is starting his second year at Hogwarts School for witchcraft and Wizardry. This time, Ginny, Rons younger sister, is starting at Hogwarts. When they get to the school, they discover that the school is under attack from mystery Dark Art Forces.Several people are Pertrified, including Hermione Granger, who is Harry and Ron's best friend. Ginny then goes missing, and Ron And Harry interogate Moaning Myrtle, who was killed 50 years ago by the same thing. HArry and Ron then Open the Chamber of Secrets, to kill the thing. When they get there, Ron has to stay behind to look for Ginny. Harry goes foward and finds Ginny and Tom Riddle.they defeat the thing(Spoiler Basilisk). Dobby, the houseelf, also gets freed from his evil masters by a sock. Everyone becomes un petrified, and all ends well.This is a very good book actually.
